Your Team

Step into the world of Quality Engineering where our group has one vision: we enable predictable development by guiding quality ‘by design.’ This means we help produce stronger and cleaner code, robust and reliable tools, and creative new processes that push our development partners and our games to new heights.  Our tools, frameworks and workflow optimizations are critical to driving the quality of our software titles and something we need to constantly evolve to meet new technologies and new game features.

The Role

As a Senior Product Manager in our Quality Engineering space, you will report to the Director of Product Management. You will be one of QE's faces and voices with our Partner teams (QV, Development, Art, Production). You will build strategic partnerships with those teams and promote best practices in critical areas such as scalable automation, quality at source, shift-left. You will acquire a deep understating of your partners' missions, workflows, pain points and problems. You will help them transform their current practices by advising them on alternative approaches and tools.

You will be a master at listening. You will help your partners focus on their core problems rather than perceived solutions. You will understand those problems from the inside and capture partner needs by way of workflows, user stories, and feature briefs, and convert them into clear business problem statements. You will be mindful of your partners' cultural biases. At times, you will need to reframe what your partners tell you in a broader organizational context that has wider impact and is more conducive to change.

You will use your data expertise to help assess and measure the value, ROI, and impact of Quality Engineering's proposed solutions.

You will work on a daily/weekly basis with your fellow Product Managers (who will focus on planning and the roadmap while you will oversee partner workflows and business needs), our Data Engineers (to help them produce our data accountability strategy) and our Technical Directors (to help them convert business problems into technical solutions).
