Slingshot partners with an expansive roster of EA Mobile studios and incubation & production teams to work on some of the biggest IPs such as Battlefield, FIFA, and Need for Speed.

 

EA is looking for a Senior Product Manager - Economy to help define, market, and upkeep the company’s free-to-play mobile gaming portfolio. The Economy Product Manager would be helping the team in developing the feature roadmap, designing the game economy, and providing analytics support from creation to launch to live operations. This is a strategic, metrics-driven role focusing on the game’s engagement, conversion, and monetization, crucial to delivering engaging and viral games that are fun, iconic, and meet the company’s aggressive revenue goals. You will learn a ton, have fun, and be a critical part of our success. You will work closely with studio leadership, Lead PMs and Producers in business planning and KPI setting for the team, and you will report to the Hyderabad-based Lead PM.

Responsibilities:

  • Use a strong quantitative background to create, balance and manage virtual economies and economy models
  • Work closely with Game Producers and Senior PMs to provide product economy analysis, revenue optimization, feature recommendations, and ongoing live support for our games
  • Work with Game Designers and Game Producers to deliver world-class live service content to improve the acquisition, engagement, and monetization of the product. Use live player data to inform the content’s tuning and pricing strategy.
  • Leverage quantitative and qualitative analytics to monitor game performance, tune mechanics, and identify new opportunities and features to improve user conversion, retention, and monetization.
  • Work closely with the Analytics team to bring world-class tools and methodologies to the game development process
  • Coordinate closely with marketing, creative, and franchise teams to promote titles both in-game and externally to optimize response/ROI
  • Help sell the why, the vision, the roadmap, and the results to the team and stakeholders
  • Be an advocate for the game/s, play the games and understand it's various engagement and economy systems

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of B2C product management experience where your consumer is the priority
  • 2+ years of experience in economy balancing for games with multiple currencies is highly desirable
  • Experience using Excel or BI tools (Power BI/Tableau/Looker) to build dashboards and generate insights
  • Analytical and quantitative forecasting/modeling skills with a focus on data-informed decision making
  • Demonstrated experience leading a multi-disciplinary team
  • Strong project management skills and ability to present work to executive staff
  • BA/BS degree – CS/EE/Engineering degree OR MBA preferred
  • Mobile expertise is a strong plus
