#WeAreEA and we exist to inspire the world to play. We are a global team of creators, storytellers, technologists, experience originators, innovators and so much more. We believe amazing games and experiences start with teams as diverse as the players and communities we serve. At Electronic Arts, the only limit is your imagination. Come join us! We're hiring a Senior Social Impact Manager to join EA's global Social Impact team.

Our Team

Part of Brand Communications and Impact in the Experiences Organization, the Social Impact team plays for a better tomorrow through strategic investment of EA's resources–people, products, philanthropy, partnerships–to make a positive impact in the communities where we live, work, and play. We create value for the enterprise and strengthen EA's brand and reputation by driving outcomes in closing the opportunity gap in STEAM education and building resilient, connected communities where everyone can thrive. In collaboration with company and community stakeholders, we design and amplify high-value, equitable programs and experiences in and around EA's games to enable employees and players around the world to inspire the next generation of creators and innovators.

Reporting to the Head of Global Social Impact, as the Senior Social Impact Manager, you will work with leaders across the enterprise and studios to help execute the vision for EA's Social Impact strategy. You will help grow the function, pillars, and programs to provide shared value for the EA ecosystem: employees, players, creators, fans, community partners, industry collaborators, regulators and policymakers, and investors. You will build relationships with mission-driven nonprofit organizations and charities to activate all our levers for change and bring the best of EA to inspire the world to play. You will be a strategic partner as you work to level up our social impact work. You will work in a hybrid work model from the EA Redwood Shores office.

Responsibilities:

  • You are an integrated partner with studios and franchise teams, driving both strategy and execution aligned to EA's brand, values, and priorities as part of a global team and work as a CSR/social impact generalist.
  • Develop and scale a variety of employee volunteer and giving experiences that foster strong employee and community engagement and align to EA's broader DEI approach.
  • Build meaningful experiences for our players and fans with activations in and around games that advance enterprise and studio/franchise goals and align to company milestones and tentpole moments.
  • Identify strategic charitable giving opportunities and develop partnership plans that help unlock impact at scale across global locations.
  • Work cross-functionally, specifically with brand and communications teams, Global Affairs, and studio and unit leaders to develop compelling stories and purpose content that highlights EA's social impact and ESG commitments and progress.
  • Develop the goals, plans, and assessment frameworks to measure impact, and manage the ongoing delivery of metrics and reporting that demonstrate both social and business value and support the enterprise ESG narrative and annual report.
  • Monitor best practices and provide data analysis and insights into social impact trends, local/regional/global community investment opportunities, and benchmarking to identify new opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field plus 8+ years of professional experience in corporate social responsibility, social impact, or ESG.
  • Expert in building and growing a portfolio of programs with creative ideas around employee volunteerism, corporate philanthropy, charitable product activations, and mission-driven partnerships.
  • Ability to foster and steward relationships at all levels in and out of the company to build trust and deliver results.
  • Global perspective and experience working in multinational corporate environments and within decentralized organizational structures.
  • Strong influencing skills with a collaborative approach to enable effective cross-functional teamwork toward a common goal.
  • Passion for creating and evangelizing positive change with and for communities and helping social impact be a competitive advantage and brand-builder for the company.
  • Excellent listening, presentation, and verbal and written communication skills with a learning and growth mindset.
  • Project management and ability to manage multiple priorities.
