AMD is looking for a senior Full-stack software engineer to join the AMD Silo AI, SiloGen applications team to design and develop secure, and reliable web-based UI's and backend services for Machine Learning solutions. They take care of packaging, testing, deploying, and supporting the software they deliver.  

This role requires a deep understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies, with a specific focus on back-end and Python.

Our current tech stack and tools consist of for example: Python, React, PostgreSQL, MongoDB and Kubernetes across private and public clouds Oracle and AMD GPU hardware. 

THE PERSON:

The candidate will play a pivotal role in developing user-facing applications for efficient use of GPU compute for model training. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop, and maintain complex web applications using a combination of front-end and back-end technologies. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features. 

• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs. 

• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. 

• Participate in code reviews and ensure the high quality of code. 

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. 

• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends. 

• Mentor and guide junior developers.
