Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Senior Software Engineer in San Francisco, CA to architect and develop core system UX for gaming devices and services. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent, and five (5) years of experience supporting Quality Assurance automation and troubleshooting production issues. Prior experience must include five (5) years of developing and testing user interface features for web applications; optimizing architecture memory and performance, and establishing standards for system scaling, management and sustainability; observing user behavior through dashboards and utilizing collected metrics to enhance UX design; implementing technical solutions for commerce related activity across platform; performance turning network connected applications and shipping consumer-facing web applications; and, in executing duties, utilizing HTML/CSS, large scale code bases, JavaScript, ES6, Node.js, NPM, Webpack, SVN, Agile/Scrum development, continuous deployment, MySQL, Linux and Apache. **Employer will accept four (4) years of related work experience to satisfy the Bachelor’s degree requirement.** Send resumes to SIE-Job-Postings@sony.com & indicate job code JL5569722.
