The opportunity
Multiple positions- Unity is looking for a Senior Software Engineers to spearhead initiatives on our Monetization Supply team. This team is a part of the team focused on building the next generation of Unity's monetization suite. As the leading development platform for online and mobile games, Unity is helping take developer's creations further and faster than ever before. Unity Monetization enables developers to build a business through advertising, in-app purchase and analytics. Our fast growing business requires us to set up a dedicated team to handle integration work with an ever-growing number of partners, ensure smooth integration, and system design of our integration architecture to satisfy extremely high availability and scalability targets

What you'll be doing

  • Design and build systems/services/solutions that are reliable, scalable, predictable, and secure.
  • Perform requirement gathering, investigation, and analysis to determine appropriate solutions.
  • Build and improve methods of accurate testing and safe promotion of releases from development to staging and, eventually, to production.
  • Perform performance analysis, network incident troubleshooting and capacity planning.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure service/system uptime.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field, plus five (5) years of related work experience.
  • In the alternative, the employer will accept seven (7) years of related work experience.
  • Must have five (5) years of experience with/in: C/C++, Linux OS; Bash and Shell Scripting; TCP/IP, DP, and HTTP network protocols; NoSQL; Cassandra database clusters; Multithreading programming; Unit and integration testing;
  • Must have knowledge of: Database design
  • Telecommuting permitted on a hybrid schedule as determined by the employer
