The opportunity

We are currently seeking a highly proficient Engine Programmer (Senior Software Engineer) to solve technical issues from Unity users and work with the Global R&D team to research and improve Unity engine source codes.

We are looking for a Software Engineer who ideally has in-depth knowledge of how Unity or other Game(visualization) engines work at the C++(native) level and how it is used in large projects. This position will be instrumental in helping key Unity users ship outstanding games and applications.

What you’ll be doing

• Provide in-depth consultation and support to developers who are planning to use Unity for their games and simulations
• Work closely with various global teams to advance Unity engine
• Contribute to the advance of the Unity engine by developing new features or suggesting improvements.
• Become a technical professional in the use of Unity product portfolio for game and simulation development
• Build up strong and long term bonds with developers throughout all industries

What we’re looking for

• Experience in game programming, simulation programming, and middleware for game development
• High level of understanding of game engine features
• Unity specialist who has code-level in-depth experience in the commercial or in-house 3D game engines such as Unreal, Frostbite, CryEngine, etc.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with various groups of customers

You might also have

• English communication skills
• PC or console game development experience
• Experience in the shipping of a couple of big projects
