The opportunity

The Strategic Partner Development Manager | GSI will be responsible for operationalizing our partnerships and alliances with key Global Systems Integrators. Unity is looking for an experienced partner manager who will be the primary day-to-day point of contact for Unity’s GSI partnerships. You will report to the Director of Strategic Partnerships to develop and take ownership of the collaboration plan to ensure the partnership is working successfully towards achieving goals and KPIs across several workstreams (Sales, Marketing, Training & Enablement, Technology & R&D). You will establish meaningful relationships with our partners at every level, maintaining a keen understanding of the partner’s strategy, technical roadmap, business priorities, and operational needs, to ensure those needs are met in a timely manner, and communicated to the appropriate people within Unity. What you'll be doing

  • Develop and take responsibility for the overall workplan to achieve annual joint targets for the partnership. Liaise with Unity’s Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales and Customer Success organizations as well as the GSI’s partnership team to ensure we are organized as a partnership and working efficiently across critical workstreams - product & R&D, sales/joint GTM, training & enablement, and marketing
  • Track performance of workstreams, report insights to senior leaders and make recommendations to optimize for improved results. Prepare quarterly presentations for senior executives as we monitor progress of the partnership and make resource investment decisions to ensure financial outcomes are achieved
  • Develop go-to-market and co-selling strategies for the partnership to address the needs of large enterprise clients including the development of pitch materials
  • Work with Unity’s Training & Enablement Team to lead the upskilling program required to build a high-impact Unity services practice for our partners
  • Work with Unity operations to establish tools and processes to manage the growth of rapidly growing global partnerships

What we're looking for

  • Consulting or Partner management experience in the technology industry or related experience
  • Experience working in professional services either at a management consultancy or systems integrator
  • Experience working on strategic partnerships that are crafted to drive revenue and deliver market share growth
  • Understanding of the enterprise digital transformation, cloud, mobile, AR/VR landscape
  • Strong listening and communication skills and a proven track record working with cross-functional teams
