The Role: 

We are looking for a Senior Cluster System Program Manager to join the Program Management team in (DCCS) Data Center Cluster Solutions.  We manage programs of cluster solutions, from definition through delivery including Design, Validation, Optimize, and Customer Enablement. You will work across teams, blending your exceptional program management skills and tactical experience to deliver high-quality solutions, on time and within budget.  You will have opportunities in participating in execution process definition as well as raising the bar for operational excellence.

The Person:

Our Senior Cluster Solution Program Manager should have proven program management skills along with product development experience within the Semiconductor and/or Data Center industry.  This person both understands the big picture and is hungry dive into the details.  Ability to drive for results across organizational/functional teams and to communicate effectively to different levels of stakeholders is a must. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program manage the end-to-end Cluster development cycle from definition to delivery including forecasting, sourcing and procurement of components as well as ensuring resource and infrastructure readiness
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to define dependencies and eliminate process gaps and delays
  • Maintain Plan of Record (POR) and hold teams accountable for deliverables
  • Work with subject matter experts to forecast opex, capital for infrastructure, labs, resources and Cluster components
  • Oversee program procurement and delivery of cluster components and infrastructure
  • Establish and enforce processes where needed, and determine where to leverage or refine processes to achieve operational efficiency
  • Participate in various forums to provide concise updates to Executives and engineering teams

Preferred Experience and Attributes:

  • Multiple years of Technical Program Management experience leading the delivery of integrated system level solutions including hardware and software
  • Proven self-starter with can-do attitude and demonstrated record of taking initiative and getting results
  • Must have excellent communication, executive presentation skills, and ability to facilitate problem solving
  • Organization/Planning skills and relevant experience driving development schedules and risk
  • Proactively involves others in planning, decision making, and implementation efforts
  • Problem resolution with other groups, both internal and external
  • Thrives on results in a fast paced environment, achieving project goals and maintaining productive relationships
  • Experienced with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Team usage, and data analysis via visual dashboards (pivot tables, PowerBI, etc) is highly preferred

Academic Credentials:

  • BSEE (or equivalent), MSEE (or equivalent) preferred
  • Formal Project Management education, PMP designation is a plus
