YOUR DAILY ADVENTURE

• Work with animation team, code and design to achieve look and feel of desired animations style in-game;
• Support the integration of animation in the game engine
• Creation of animation state machines in engine
• Act as a bridge between animation and tech to guide and validate game features and technologies
• Validate animations adhere to technical restrictions
• Create, maintain, test and debug animation tools and pipelines
• Create rigs and skinning for simple props
• Implement techniques and processes to solve animation challenges
• Collaborate with various job families to build compelling gameplay animation systems
• Develop, adapt and implement the animation pipeline to be used in production in accordance with the project’s technical constraints;
• Follows animation technical directives and delivers technical support to the team, thereby helping to solve bugs;
• Participates in the training of animators on the selected tools and methods and supports the integration of animations into the game engine.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• Bridge the gap between animation and tech to guide and validate game animation features and technologies
• Game engine experience with regards to animation, rigging and character setup
• Familiar with the animation and rigging pipeline
• Programming with Python or C# for Maya, Motionbuilder, 3Dsmax
• Aptitude for client-oriented problem solving in a highly dynamic & collaborative environment
• Knowledge in motion capture solutions;
• Experience in development of a character action game;
• Gaming shipping experience is a plus, but not a must.
