As part of the Technical Lead team, you will join one of our unannounced projects. As a Senior Technical Designer (M/NB/W), you will be fully integrated into production team and your role will be to answer technical challenges of the Design team. 

Your tasks will be as follows: 

  • Act as a technical reference for the team in relation to Game Design & Level Design and provide technical support for integration.
  • Collaborate with Design and Programming teams to implement tools & features in the engine.
  • Proactively identify and define technical solutions for various gameplay and systemic features.
  • Understand, collect, and share best practices, pipelines, and workflows.
  • Document tools and pipeline and ensure that team members have all the necessary tools and information to use them.
  • Participate in data optimization and validation, taking budget into account and ensuring that technical standards are respected.
  • Participate in the advanced debugging of data throughout production.
  • Provide regular feedback to design directors (e.g. suggestions for improving tools and methods, etc.).
  • Experience in Design with a technical focus, track record of shipped games in a similar position,
  • Technical knowledge of game engine, game editor and visual programming (ex. Unreal blueprint),
  • The ability to understand and communicate in technical language & clearly express your ideas (both on paper and in person),
  • Flexibility and solid analysis and problem-solving skills and a user-oriented spirit,
  • Experience in programming/scripting is a plus.
