Senior Test Engineer

THE ROLE: 

AMD/Xilinx Belfast is growing its System Test and Application Support group. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented, self-driven and motivated test engineer to join our team. You will have access to world-class infrastructure and platforms and work on the next generation of AMD Servers, Adaptor cards, Applications and devices.

You'll join a team enabling solutions for AI, Video and Networking. You will engage with both AMD IT & Engineering teams and AMDs OEM partners to implement engineering solutions for continuous improvement, to deliver high quality products and to meet engineering qualification schedules.

This position will offer a strong career path within a fast-paced environment where you will develop your skills working with AMD/Xilinx leading-edge technologies.

EXPERIENCE: 

• Experience debugging complex System Level HW/SW issues via root cause analysis.
• Good knowledge of Linux Operating Systems
• Experience with data centre equipment such as network switches, PCIe cards, servers, etc
• Ability to perform engineering evaluation of equipment upgrades/enhancements and lab equipment maintenance 
• Experience in Python would be advantageous
• Self-motivated and goal driven. Capable of working alone or as part of a team.  
• Good oral and written communications.

Qualifications Required

• Degree or better in Electronic Engineering, or related subject
