The Role:
We are looking for our next team member to join our EMEA Component Channel Sales Team, reporting into our DACH regional sales leader. This role is partner-facing and will be expected to build AMD’s server component channel business across the DACH region with a focus on partner/VAR led acceleration responsible for driving business development with our Distribution and Channel Partners executing sales programs, enabling sales teams through training and evangelizing AMD technology

- Strong experience working the DACH Server Distribution, System Integration and Cloud Service Provider Channel
- An established network within the DACH server/commercial Component Channel
- Have worked alongside market-leading Server ODM manufacturers
- High level of Data acumen and attention to detail
- An internal and external relationship builder
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Ability to travel
Key Responsibilities:
- Grow the DACH Server Component business handled through EMEA and local Distributors both via our VAR/channel partners and aligning with our customer facing BDE team on project opportunities
- Partnering with key ODM partners across the DACH region
- Achieving Annual Operating numbers for Sell Through and sell-out
- Provide weekly forecasts and business status updates to Management
- Provide short, medium, and long-term forecasts on the business for planning purposes
- Working closely with AMD Finance and Sales Ops in developing the business
- Build strong sales relationships within the DACH region
Preferred Experience:
- Extensive experience working within the DACH Component Channel either as a vendor, distributor or VAR
- Extensive experience in outside sales with the demonstrated success meeting and/or exceeding target goals
- Demonstrated knowledge of Server and Enterprise solutions
Academic Credentials:
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
