THE ROLE:
We are seeking an experienced Server Customer Program Manager with strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk management skills. The ideal candidate will efficiently manage relationships within a cross-functional organization to ensure successful customer program launches. This role requires a self-directed individual capable of navigating complex and dynamic ecosystems.
THE PERSON:
As a Server Customer Program Manager, you will partner with cross-functional teams to manage customers and their server portfolios through product lifecycle from Concept, Plan, Development and Sustaining. You will understand customer platforms and solutions, identify and document customer requirements, and establish engineering schedules. Your goal is to drive product solution deliverables and ensure alignment with customer platforms to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction throughout the product lifecycle.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Primary support contact in development and sustaining customer programs
- Develop customer-specific solutions with full product cycle technical support, feasibility verification, and apply project management principles effectively across small to large-scale server projects throughout the entire development process
- Align with cross-functional teams on customer engagement, with emphasis on driving technical
- enablement/communications, technical support, and debug/issue resolution
- Coordinate on-time delivery of all engineering project deliverables into customer development projects
- Provide detailed level engineering schedules, resource requirements, and status reporting for customer
- Support ODM/OEM projects from design inception to mass production
- Identify program risks and develop mitigation plans
- Manage customer critical issues and escalations
- Manage customer sampling requirements in development
- Drive for highest levels of customer satisfaction
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- 8+ years of experience in the computing industry, at the OEM, ODM, or technology provider level with 5 + years of experience managing and delivering programs related to electronic products
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to handle all levels of interaction, including executive level.
- Detail-oriented, self-driven with a strong sense of pride and ownership.
- Experience leading cross-functional and cross-regional teams to deliver program goals
- Technical program management and customer relationship management or experience working with customers in various levels of technical and business relationship engagement
- Ability to build relationships and work effectively as a self-starter and as part of a team.
- Collaborate in problem-solving and mitigating risks with Engineering, Program/Project Management, Business Units, and Product Management—both internal and external.
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skill is a must
- PMP certification a plus, but not required
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
