ServiceNow CMDB/ITOM Specialist

THE ROLE: AMD is seeking an experienced ServiceNow CMDB/ITOM Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) modules.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

•  
• Design, implement and maintain ServiceNow CMDB and ITOM modules.
• Define and maintain data models and relationships in the CMDB.
• Create and manage configuration items (CIs) and their relationships.
• Develop and maintain automated discovery and integration with other IT systems.
• Develop and maintain CMDB policies, standards, procedures, and governance.
• Create and maintain reports and dashboards to monitor CMDB and ITOM health and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of CMDB data.
• Assist with ServiceNow upgrades, patches, and enhancements related to CMDB and ITOM.
• Experience with Deployed client collector agentless & agent.
• Experience with Cloud Discovery.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in ServiceNow CMDB and ITOM.
• Strong understanding of ITIL and IT service management principles.
• Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Orchestration modules.
• Knowledge of database concepts and SQL.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong networking skills, including a solid understanding of networking protocols, technologies, and architectures.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: 

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
