SILICON DESIGN ENGINEER 2
THE ROLE:
- As Part of the physical design teams you will have technical responsibility for RTL to GDS implementation of complex AMD digital IP/blocks with the cutting edge technology nodes.
- You will be responsible for one or more PD aspects like Floor-plan, Power-plan, Synthesis, Placement, CTS, Timing Closure, Routing, Extraction, Physical Verification (DRC & LVS), Crosstalk Analysis, EM/IR of the IP/blocks
- Drive PPA improvements to offer world-class IP/subsystems
THE PERSON:
- Strong self-driving ability
- Should have excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Should be a team player with positive attitude
- Should be able to work with various stakeholders across the globe
Requirements:
- Solid understanding of CMOS circuit design fundamentals
- Course-work completion in all relevant courses in VLSI design
- Projects including hands-on experience in physical design
- Familiar with RTL coding, with experience using any HDL languages preferably Verilog
- Good Scripting knowledge like Tcl, perl, python
