SILICON DESIGN PROFILING ENGINEER
THE ROLE:
As a Silicon Design Profiling Engineer, you will work with RTL, DV and Infra experts to drive improvements in flows and methodologies that affect simulations and builds.
THE PERSON:
You have a passion for modern, complex processor architecture, digital design, and verification in general. You are a team player who has excellent communication skills. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are willing to learn and ready to take on problems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive improvements in simulations and build flows, working towards reducing runtime and memory consumption
- Coordinate with Infra engineers to qualify and implement latest industry standard methodologies
- Work with DV and RTL engineers to drive adoption of latest industry standard tools
- Work with DV and RTL engineers to clear testbenches and RTL code of glitches, race-conditions and other hard-to-debug corner cases
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Project level experience with design concepts and RTL implementation for same
- Experience or familiarity with functional verification tools by Synopsys, Cadence, Mentor Graphics
- Experience or familiarity with build tools, such as Gradle
- Experience or familiarity with the following: C++, Python, Ruby, Verilog, SystemVerilog
- Good understanding of computer organization/architecture
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in computer engineering/Electrical Engineering
