THE ROLE:

We are looking for an experienced verification engineer who is going to take the ownership of the test plan development, testbench development and ensuring milestone dates are met as scheduled. This role will also take an active role in coaching team members and assuming the consultative or leadership responsibilities for a specific project or product development initiative. Responsible to interact with internal groups on behalf of the design verification team.

THE PERSON:

As a senior member of the team, you should have very good communication and project leadership skills. You should also be a good team player sharing knowledge among team members and being accountable and reliable.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Candidate is expected to be a strong team player with good communication and leadership skills
• Experience with development of UVM/OVM and/or Verilog, System Verilog test benches and usage of simulation tools/debug environments such as Synopsys VCS
• Strong understanding of state of the art of verification techniques, including assertion and coverage-driven verification
• Familiarity with verification management tools as well as understanding of database management particularly as it pertains to regression management
• Experience with python or any other scripting language is a plus
• Experience with gate-level simulation, power verification, reset verification, contention checking is a plus

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Provide technical leadership and contribution Block and Subsystem level verification
• Develop advanced SystemVerilog and UVM based testbench and Automation scripts that can scale with Full-Chip which enables improved quality and execution of Xilinx’s devices.
• Test Planning, testbench architecture, execution, tracking, coverage closure, and delivery to programs

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Requires BS or MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science or related equivalent
