THE ROLE:

Graphics Technologies and Engineering (G&E) Methodology team is seeking an experienced ASIC Physical Design Engineer to develop and improve design flows using AI techniques for next generation silicon design products.

 

THE PERSON:

Excellent analytical, timing management, communication and problem solving skills

Desire to innovate and find solutions in a fast-paced engineering environment

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Improving design flows for Floor planning, Synthesis, Place & Route, Static Timing Analysis, IR drop analysis, Physical Verification in latest semi-conductor technologies

- Developing and Integrating ML and LLM applications for Physical Design flows

- Performing data analysis and identifying design trends

- Customizing and implementing solutions for new challenges

- Collaborating with multi-site engineering teams to reach project goals

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

- Experience in ASIC Physical Design and/or CAD development

- Hands-on experience with Place and Route, Timing Analysis, and Physical Verification tools from Synopsys, Cadence, Siemens

- Experience with Python. 

- Knowledge in ML and LLM

- Experience with data analytics applications, database management

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

Bachelor/Master’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering
