THE ROLE: 

In this role, you will work within the SOC PMO with responsibilities that include ensuring that new product development program execution is successfully driven in line with the project(s) scope, schedule, and budget. A key component of this role involves working closely with the global SOC and IP teams to ensure continual forward progress is maintained, status reporting is timely and accurate, and key issues are driven with appropriate urgency.

 

This is a cross-functional role that involves engagement across all engineering and business units to meet project objectives. This position offers deep exposure to industry leading Graphics, GPU Compute, Machine Learning, and related technologies.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Delivering on all assigned program commitments from inception through execution
  • Delivering assigned program(s) within POR schedule, budget and scope
  • Driving incorporation of initiatives and process improvements at the functional, cross-functional, and corporate level into assigned program(s)
  • Ownership of status reporting and issue messaging to key stakeholders, including senior executives
  • Initiates significant changes to existing processes and methods to improve project and team efficiency 
  • Creates and maintains project management artifacts such as schedule, resource and resource forecast, risk and issues logs 
  • Collect, analyze, organize and publish work performance data via dashboards and recurring status reports 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 

  • Minimum of 8-10 years program management or technical leadership experience
  • Detailed oriented, self-driven with a strong sense of pride and ownership. 
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, interpersonal, presentation, written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to build relationships and work effectively as a self-starter and as part of a team 
  • Proactively involve team members in planning, decision-making and execution efforts 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to handle all levels of interaction, including executive level 
  • Ability to work in a large matrixed organization and achieve results via influence
  • Technical program management and customer relationship management 
  • Strong knowledge of productivity and project tools including Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Office Suite  

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: 

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering Preferred
  • Formal project management education, PMP / Scrum Master desired
