SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER  

THE ROLE:

Software development engineer on teams building and optimizing AI/HPC (high performance computing) math libraries for AMD GPU compute platforms.

THE PERSON:

Strong programming and optimization skills on any of hardware platforms. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, implement and optimize GPU algorithms for AI and HPC operations
• Deliver high-quality code and documentation following standard methodologies for open source software development

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Excellent C/C++ programming, parallel programming, and software design skills
• Strong background in performance analysis and optimization, computer architecture
• Experience with GPU programming (e.g., CUDA, HIP, OpenCL) is a plus
• Experience with low-level programming/optimization (e.g., assembly, intrinsic, IR) is a plus
• Experience with of any accelerators is a plus: GPU, DSP, APU, TPU, VPU, or any other AI accelerators
• Understanding of Deep Learning operations/frameworks is a plus

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Master's or PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
