The Role

We are looking for a Software Engineer who has built games or other products. You will work with a team of product managers, game designers, artists and quality assurance folks. As an individual contributor you will report to the Technical Director of the project.

Here's how your day would look like:

  • You will implement game features according to design specifications.
  • You will improve code for performance, focusing on reducing load times and improving frame rates.
  • You will participate in code reviews and retrospectives and improve our code bases and processes.
  • You will participate in technical discussions that help us plan our big tech-driven features and roadmap.
  • You will write good documentation and follow coding standards.

Who fits the bill:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in C++.
  • 1+ years of experience preferably in the video games industry.
  • Experience working with large codebases.
  • Experience working with game engines like Unity, Unreal.
  • Knowledge of Android and iOS development.
  • Experience in version control tools (Git, Perforce, etc.)
  • Be open to diverse perspectives, debate your ideas and get behind the team's vision.
  • Be collaborative, authentic and committed to quality.
  • Be biased towards action and see things to completion.
  • Be observant and nudge our teams to iterate and improve.
