KRAFTON Americas is looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join our team!  Situated in the vibrant city of Santa Monica, the KRAFTON Americas office represents the center of our Americas publishing, creative, and general operations efforts where we support both local and overseas development teams. You may know us as the developers and publishers of PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, The Callisto Protocol, and Subnautica to name a few. Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Technical Production team and stakeholders to focus on technical execution of online projects that include building and deploying complete enterprise web applications for game publishing platform
  • This includes technical planning and development (including architecting and implementation) of features.
  • Work closely with the Technical Producer to develop the technical guidelines for game development teams.
  • Assist with the creation and editing of functional specifications.
  • Communicate and coordinate with global wide game developers to integrate their games with our game publishing platform.
  • Communicate and coordinate with software engineers in Krafton headquarter located in Korea who work on the same codebase.
• Work closely with the other software, network and system engineers to setup and manage cloud infrastructure for game publishing platform
  • Work closely with software engineers in Krafton headquarter to make the platform to work on cloud infrastructure.
  • Communicate and coordinate with DevOps engineers in Krafton headquarter located in Korea

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical field, or the foreign equivalent.  Three years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in designing and leading program integration with back-end server platform and operating cloud infrastructure including the following:

  • Three years of experience using both Java based framework or Golang
  • Three years of experience designing and implementing server application on Linux
  • Over one years of experience operating cloud infrastructure
  • Over one years of experience using Docker and Kubernetes on cloud infrastructure

In California, the expected salary range for this position is $100,000-$130,000. The listed expected salary range represents a good faith estimate and the actual pay may depend on a variety of job-related factors that can include experience, education, skills, and location.
