Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Software Engineer II in San Francisco, CA to improve existing network advertising systems, adhering to tight service response time Service Level Agreements and develop features to make the system fault tolerant and resilient. Requires a Master of Science in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent, and two (2) years of experience collaborating with team to handle the load balancing of high volumes of traffic across distributed systems and regions. Prior experience must include at least two (2) years of experience working as part of a team to architect and manage multi-region, active software systems, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance and low latency; developing across the full product vertical including the dashboard and backend delivery systems; coding and designing in Java for high performance, scalability and resilience, and working on Big Data issues; and helping architect, design, and develop real-time, cloud-based services to be deployed and leveraged globally, and which are accessible via mobile and web properties, and other applications and devices.  Send resumes to SIE-Job-Postings@sony.com & indicate job code AJ4704004.
