The opportunity

We are looking for a Software Engineer to help us grow the team. You will be responsible for mentoring junior engineers and tackling harder tasks yourself. The team will work closely and collaboratively to support all Platform teams in Unity.

You will have a lot of opportunities to grow by working with very skilled software engineers, learn to collaborate with different teams, and work on development at a high complexity level due to the multi-platform nature of Unity.

What you’ll be doing

• Perform bug fixing and back-porting of bugs for a multitude of platforms
• Interact with multiple internal development teams to ensure product quality requirements are met
• Collaborate with developers inside the team to develop internal projects and tooling

What we’re looking for

• Experience with an object-oriented programming language such as C# and C++
• Excellent communication skills and performance-minded development
• Ability to support and mentor junior team members, forming relationships of trust by example

You might also have

• Cross-platform development experience
• Experience using Unity’s engine and tools
