SOFTWARE SYSTEM DESIGNER 2
THE ROLE:
This is an exciting role in which you will have excellent exposure to all the latest AMD (Advanced Micro Devices) technologies. Imagine yourself as part of the team which will deliver our next generation of our products or automation for many of our reference solutions. THE PERSON:
You are a self-starter who is able to achieve successful outcomes in a non-hierarchical environment. Detailed oriented, you have the ability to multitask through planning/organizing. You have excellent communication and presentation skills and a passion to push the limits of software on innovative platforms.
We are looking for someone with a strong programming skill in C and C++ with exposure to X86 as well as ARM and/or RISC architecture. An ideal candidate should have hands on experience working with different sensors and interfacing them using different communication protocols, such as I2C/I3C, SPI, and UART.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
candidate’s primary responsibility is to develop motion sensor algorithms and features.
Design, development, integration, and testing of the Sensor Fusion solution.
Includes cross cultural communication with the vendor and customer.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Extensive C++ experience, preferably in production environments
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux environments
R&D industry experience with a minimum of 2-4 years hands-on experience with motion sensor algorithms and feature development in embedded firmware. The solution must have reached production.
Sensors:
Must have worked on motion sensors algorithms like Accel, Gyro, Magnetometer, and interfacing with sensors
Must have experience in sensor static calibration.
Experience with STM and Bosch sensors will be an added advantage.
Language: Must have a very good understanding of C, CPP.
OS knowledge: Windows or Linux. RTOS experience will be a valuable addition.
Controller: ARM Cortex M4 or any other RISC controller.
- It is good to have working experience with STM development kit
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelors or Masters in engineering.
