SOLUTION ARCHITECT

 

THE ROLE

As a Solution Architect, you will play a key role in influencing and deploying the next generation of prototype and hybrid solutions for AMD platforms. Working closely with SOC architecture, verification, Software and Hardware team, you will help define our solution architecture.

 

THE PERSON

We are seeking individuals with a desire to address challenging problems on daily basis. Virtual Bring-Up (VBU) is a premiere central methodology team that strives towards excellence, utilizes novel industry technologies and comes up with innovative ways to address execution challenges.  As part of VBU, you will work across AMD's product portfolio to develop and enable methodology and tools to tackle key design cycle challenges for the company by leveraging acceleration, hardware emulation and prototyping technologies.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Architect pre-silicon validation system solution.
  • Develop software methodologies and architectural simulations to address complex SOC prototypes
  • Develop software design flow and prototyping ecosystem.
  • Implement performance and scalability optimizations for the design flow for FPGA prototyping.
  • Propose, develop, and define debug methodologies for SW prototyping solutions.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • High-level system architecture
  • System software architecture
  • SW development in C and C++ (or other high-level programming language)
  • FPGA development

 

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS

  • Advanced degree in computer science
  • Publication(s) and patent(s) in related field
