Job Role and Responsibility: AMD, Inc. is hiring Sr. Analog Designers to perform circuit design/simulations of voltage regulators, supply monitors, temperature monitors, and other power management, analog and mixed-signal circuits to verify that circuit performance meets specifications. Perform design/schematic changes as required. Perform and/or supervise layout generation and changes as required. Perform post-layout simulations and optimizations. Document and summarize design and simulation results and host well-organized design reviews. Perform pre-Tape out electrical check tools including EMIR/SigEM, Logical Equivalence, ESD compliance, etc.

Qualifications: Degree required

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Qualifications: Amount and type of experience required: Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or closely related engineering role.

Specific skills required: The following skills are required:

Position requires two (2) years of experience in the following:

1.Hardware verification;

2.Logic and circuit design;

3.CMOS transistor design;

4.CAD tools for circuit design (Cadence Virtuoso, Synopsys Custom Compiler, or Siemens S-edit);

5.Design flows and methodologies used for chip verification;

6.Front-End EDA tools;

7.Unix or Linux environments; and

8.MATLAB or Simulink.
