  • Take C-level goals and strategies and translate them into tangible, high-impact business (revenue generation, pricing, costs, margins, distribution channels) improvement initiatives.
  • Drill-down into business areas and identify specific opportunities for optimization, efficiency improvement and, when necessary, gap closure.
  • Create, lead, orchestrate, manage, and measure cross-functional top and bottom-line business improvement initiatives to grow/defend margins and reduce/avoid margin leakage.  Collaborate with sales, finance, marketing and product teams as well as executive management.
  • Establish goals around key performance indicators and other metrics to measure the success of strategic initiatives, business development efforts, and business performance.
  • Quickly develop a deep understanding of our business and lead a broad set of strategic efforts.  Manage multiple projects and tasks with the ability to prioritize and respond quickly to shifting priorities.
  • Prepare regular reports and executive-level presentations to communicate strategic recommendations, progress, and performance updates.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or Business, or a closely related discipline.

  • You can understand the organization's goals and strategy and evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.  You have excellent business and financial acumen.
  • You have excellent analytical, project management (must be highly detail oriented), and organizational skills with the ability to make sound business judgments.
  • You can own projects independently from end-to-end, communicate updates and outcomes effectively to senior management.
  • You are comfortable working on fluid, dynamic and ambiguous projects, where tasks become clearer as the project progresses.
  • Creative thinker:  You offer ideas and solutions on emerging challenges and opportunities.  You develop compelling, insightful recommendations.
  • Strategic thinker: You can link smaller details to the broader strategic picture.
  • Critical thinker:  You can review results and determine whether they meet both the letter and spirit of the objective and can identify what must be changed to improve the outcomes.
  • Communicator: You can articulate complex concepts in a clear, concise audience-appropriate manner. You build consensus among cross-functional teams and influence decision making within senior-level audiences.
  • Team player: You work effectively with teams across different regions and functions. You build trust with and support from all levels of the organization.
