Job Description:

Provide analytical research assistance and clarity to business demand specifications, bridging the gap between business requirements and IT initiatives.  Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs, document requirements, define scope/objectives, and formulate systems to parallel business strategies.  Examine corporate KPIs to assist in defining business requirements and set strategic objectives.  Gather business requirement related data and analytics.  Support improvement initiatives for the Engineering application roadmap, ensuring it aligns with the core goals and strategic priorities of the company.  Define business requirements and work closely with development teams to drive successful execution of IT projects and enhancements.  Build use cases around collected requirements and map into test scenarios.  Utilize analytical ability to build and evaluate business cases for operational improvements leveraging technology solutions.  Conduct unit and integration tests.  Review, analyze, and interpret the results of business systems and integrated testing to ensure business objectives are met.  Support conversion including data migration and production cutover efforts.  Provide user training and support business users in issue resolution.

Degree required: 

Master’s degree in computer science, engineering management or management information systems (or foreign equivalent).

Amount and type of experience required:

12 months in the job offered or business systems analyst role.

Skills required:

One year of experience with the following technologies and/or skills:  MS SQL server, BRD, FRD, Data Analysis and Integration, Project and Operations Management, Use cases and UAT, and reporting and web dashboards.
