About this Role

We're searching for a Senior Director, a strategic thinker with in-depth knowledge of Ad tech and a proven record in fostering innovation for enhanced revenue. Leading our global Monetization Engineering teams, you will direct our advertising platform's strategic vision and technical development to tap into new revenue sources and secure continuous business growth. This role demands a strong partnership with Product and Revenue teams to push immediate and future strategies. Leveraging your strategic and technical expertise, you'll lead efforts to adapt to market changes and elevate our monetization capabilities to new heights.


You Will...

  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of advanced advertising technology solutions, leveraging data analytics, machine learning, and automation to enhance targeting, optimization, and monetization capabilities.
  • Proactively optimize the existing AdEngine by leveraging Pre-bid strategies and other contemporary methods, ensuring the delivery of both Direct and Indirect advertising solutions to consumers in a high-performance and scalable environment.
  • Lead the development and implementation of innovative technologies within the Monetization domain, demonstrating expertise at the forefront of the ad-tech industry. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to advance new strategic initiatives.
  • Drive innovation in Targeting and Compliance, maintaining a deep understanding of the latest standards and practices, including GDPR, to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and enhance user trust.
  • Define and execute a comprehensive strategic roadmap for our Monetization Engineering teams, encompassing short-term optimizations and long-term innovation initiatives.
  • Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams across the US and Poland, foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning. 
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership, product management, sales, and marketing teams to identify market opportunities, customer needs, and revenue optimization strategies.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, market trends, and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decision-making and maintain our competitive edge in the marketplace.
  • Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with advertising platforms, technology vendors, and industry stakeholders to leverage synergies, drive innovation, and expand our monetization capabilities.
  • Drive a culture of data-driven decision-making, leveraging analytics and insights to measure performance, identify opportunities for optimization, and drive continuous improvement across our monetization efforts.
  • Serve as a thought leader and subject matter expert in advertising technology and monetization strategies, both internally and externally, representing our organization at industry events, conferences, and forums.


You Have...

  • Proven track record of leadership and strategic vision in Monetization technology, requiring extensive experience deploying and managing large-scale monetization systems.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong emphasis on developing and implementing cutting-edge technologies.
  • Experience with leading advertising platforms like Google Ad Manager, Amazon Advertising, or Adobe Advertising Cloud.
  • Deep technical expertise in advertising technology platforms, including ad serving, programmatic advertising, targeting algorithms, prebid software and revenue optimization strategies.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Javascript, coupled with experience architecting and scaling complex systems in cloud environments.
  • Exceptional strategic planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a keen ability to synthesize complex information, anticipate market trends, and formulate innovative monetization strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • A proven ability to lead and inspire teams, foster a culture of innovation and excellence, and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Knowledge of advanced data analytics techniques, including machine learning, predictive modeling, and data-driven decision-making, applied to advertising technology and monetization strategies.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements governing data privacy, advertising practices, and digital monetization.
