THE ROLE:
Delivering high quality products is paramount to AMD’s continuing success and future growth. AMD is searching for a cross-functional, cross-discipline leader to shape how AMD achieves industry leading quality. In this role you will lead and influence engineering groups throughout multiple product workstreams, solving critical issues and establishing preventative measures to ensure quality products. This role is a highly visible leadership role interacting with multi-discipline engineering teams, customers, and top leadership, including the AMD Executive Team.

The ideal candidate will be process oriented with a strategic mindset. Strong communication and partnership with a focus on results is critical to success in this role. This is an opportunity to solve new challenges and develop the future leaders of AMD.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execution of the Silicon Health Initiative
- This encompasses design, firmware, performance, DPPM attainment, and several other workstreams
- Ensure each workstream has an established roadmap that achieve current or next product deliverables
- Directly lead one or more of these workstreams
- Own readouts and monthly progress reports to cross-functional executives
- Lead multiple engineering teams
- Organizational Design/Restructuring
- Define long term internal roadmaps based on silicon learnings
- Key participant in Council for Silicon Health/Quality
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in most aspects of semiconductor lifecycle
- Multiple experiences in leading a product from Tape out to Production, including driving validation and leading production qualification/readiness
- Defining strategy and shepherding it across generations to end solution
- Experience navigating heavily matrixed organizations
- Customer interaction
