As a key contributor to the success of AMD’s product portfolio, you will be part of a high-performance AMD team driving the delivery of high quality, industry-leading technology to the market. THE PERSON:
We are looking for a dynamic, upbeat systems memory leader to join our growing team passionate about delivering leading-edge technology.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and grow a global memory controller team developing state of the art IP for server, datacenter, and consumer/enterprise markets for AMD.
- Drive micro-architecture, design, implementation, and verification with innovative solutions for solving end to end product and time to market challenges
- Proactively leading project planning, developing, and maintaining schedules, managing dependencies, and ensuring quality of work you are doing at committed milestones
- Working directly with our customers and partners to ensure their memory solutions meet industry best requirements
- Develop metrics and communication mechanisms to allow for continuous improvements in execution and faster decision-making at the management and executive levels
- Collaborates with global leadership to design a high quality and scalable organization for the growing market needs.
- Coaches and mentors' staff
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Engineering management and technical leadership experience
- Experience in end to end life-cycle of a product from concept to production
- Experience with controller-PHY interactions and working with VIP vendors is desired.
- Experience with DDR and LPDDR interfaces and controller in desired.
- Good written and oral communication skills, with the ability to connect with a variety of engineering fields and management
- Solid understanding of the technologies, capabilities and challenges involved
- Expertise in firmware, software, and hardware
- Experience in driving and collaborating with global teams.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related discipline preferred
