THE ROLE:

The AMD Corporate Briefing Program provides a venue for revenue-generating strategic customer and supplier conversations. We are seeking a Coordinator who will support world-class experiences that enhance customer and partner relationships by providing pre-planning, implementation, and follow-up support for all center meetings. This role requires a customer-focused team player with outstanding organizational and communication skills.

THE PERSON:

You are a dedicated professional with experience in program management, office administration, corporate event management, or meeting planning, preferably within the technology industry. You thrive in environments where high-quality customer service is paramount and have the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You possess excellent communication skills and are comfortable working with C-level executives. Your proactive approach allows you to identify opportunities for improvement and implement them effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support Collaboration: Assist field sales teams in designing compelling, effective briefing agendas that meet business needs.
  • Briefing Support: Provide support for on-site, virtual, and hybrid briefings as needed, ensuring account teams are set up for success.
  • Meeting Logistics: Manage on-site meeting logistics, including scheduling and calendars, food & beverage, IT, and center suppliers.
  • Tool Expertise: Become the center expert on the CBC Meeting management tool, BriefingEdge.
  • Event Quality: Drive the quality of all events by supporting planning and pre-brief calls with Sales, Marketing, and Executive leadership.
  • Real-Time Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and problem solve in real-time, demonstrating flexibility, initiative, and confidence.
  • Supplier Coordination: Coordinate activities of suppliers for center updates and needs.
  • Reporting and Communication: Contribute to weekly center reports and communications.
  • Operational and Administrative Tasks: Assist with operational and administrative tasks as directed.
  • Program Promotion: Promote the briefing program internally within the business.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Background in program management, office administration, corporate event management, or meeting planning.
  • Passion for high-quality customer service and ability to build relationships with stakeholders and customers.
  • Experience working in the presence of C-level executives.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes accordingly.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and travel as needed.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Windows operating systems.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Events Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package.  Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position.
