THE ROLE:

AMD-AECG is seeking a talented Field Applications Engineering Manager to join our CMG Team.

THE PERSON:

The Field Applications Engineering Manager will work in conjunction with a Channel Sales Manager to grow revenue and lead a team of dedicated Avnet FAEs

KEY RESPONISIBILITES:

• Responsible for leading a team of Avnet dedicated AMD FAEs as they position and support AMD solutions in customer designs
• Sell the value of AMD solutions into customer products
• Understanding of market conditions and driving the FAE team to achieve AMD business objectives
• Strong coaching skills (coach vs do) and ability to increase individual and team performance
• Define and execute to a strategy and vision from a technology and technical customer engagement perspective with the FAE team and execute on it
• Build and nurture customer relationships (engineering, management, C-level, executives) for key customers
• Align with AMD Sales, Marketing, and Engineering teams and leverage appropriately in customer engagements

PREFERRED EXPERIECE

• SalesForce experience
• 5+ Engineering/Engineering Management or Technical Sales background
• Knowledge of AMD products

LOCATION:

Southern California or Arizona

At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package.  Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position. You may be eligible for incentives based upon your role such as either an annual bonus or sales incentive.
