The Role:

We are looking for a proven sales leader with a growth mindset to help take AMD’s Consumer regional business to the next level. This leader will be responsible for leading a team that drives AMD’s MNC (OEM) PCs through Retailers and E-tailers in the Spanish Latin America Region (all Latin America region excluding Brazil)

  • Proven leader experienced in growing PC sales and managing teams
  • Demonstrated success in growing the sales of both PC system units and revenue
  • Working with retailers partners in the region to develop plans to collaboratively grow our joint business
  • Experience in successfully managing large marketing budgets and programs to improve the impact of every marketing dollar
  • Strong communicator, comfortable presenting to different audiences across customers and business/partner executives
  • Willing to travel as per business needs; flexibility to travel within the territory
  • Advanced presentation skills

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Spanish Latin America region (SLA) team into next level scale and growth through our focused partners
  • Drive compelling programs to drive AMD consumer PC sales.
  • Be an active communicator of regional opportunities and needs into Business Units and HQ teams.
  • Use market insight and intelligence to make data driven decisions.
  • Promote a planning mindset with OEMs, retailers and internal teams to have a strategic approach to business seasonality.
  • Build and cultivate direct relationships with key retail executives across top AMD scale partners.
  • Promote AMD products and technologies
  • Deliver AMD unit and value targets on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Partner with AMD’s top Client MNC (OEM) to develop and implement growth strategies.
  • Acquire and analyze channel sales reporting to recognize trends and steer financial and human resources to improve growth and return on investment
  • Provide internal feedback to help build the accurate marketing collateral and sales tools vital to educate the channel on the benefits of partnering with and selling AMD-based products and solutions
  • Create customized sales plans and exceed AMD quarterly sales goals
  • Report on the status of accounts and pipeline
  • Collaborate internally & externally with marketing / social teams to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts
  • Develop and monitor performance key indicators for account set
  • Manage sales pipeline management & tracking tools and report on important information
  • Keep record of sales trends
  • Manage the end-to-end marketing claims process (RMI and MDF) with marketing operations teams 

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Proven PC Client experience in similar sales and business development positions for the Retail/E-tail/ OEM
  • Proven experience leading regional sales teams across a spread of different country locations
  • Solid understanding of the Spanish Latin America PC market, and the cultural and business differences across the countries within it
  • Strong track record of success in scaling through multiple consumer channels
  • Existing relationships built with key OEM and retail executives
  • An established background in technology business development/sales
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

 

Academic Credentials:

Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Electronic Engineering, Systems Engineering preferred
