- Experience designing and managing end-to-end research (primary research, synthesize secondary sources, manage qualitative projects)
- Experience programming and managing DIY surveys (eg. Qualtrics)

We are looking for a Sr. Marketing Research Manager to help with planning, go-to-market, and user experience for Prime Gaming. You will work with a cross-functional team that includes product, finance, go-to-market, PR, and partner marketing teams to help better understand our customers and opportunities to delight them.
Key job responsibilities
The successful candidate will have strong customer focus and business judgement. This role includes work at the strategic level (using customer insights to generate bold and innovative ideas for growth) and at the tactical level (direct execution of research initiatives). This role requires a seasoned marketing researcher with broad and deep experience in qualitative and quantitative research. The successful candidate must be able to work independently with an eye on frugality and being scrappy.
• Develop short term and long term research roadmap
• Establish and maintain customer advisory panels
• Monitor market landscape and size opportunity
• Represent customer voice in product and marketing planning
• Work cross-org to assemble relevant research and synthesis for application
• Maintain primary and secondary research repositories
• Create and manage qualitative and quantitative projects
A day in the life
- 7+ years of experience in both CPG and technology companies
- 5+ years working in the video game or entertainment industry
- Advanced degree in business, marketing research, or the sciences (MBA, Masters in Marketing Research)
- Background in identifying whitespace opportunities, assessing new product priorities, and evaluating new product concepts
- Experience synthesizing internal and external data sources to inform new market product sizing
- Experience moderating focus groups or one-on-one interviews
- Ethnographic research experience
- Excellent communication skills, able to present findings in a clear and concise manner

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $112,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $186,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
