THE ROLE:   

We are looking for an  Product Applications Engineer (PAE) to provide technical support for AMD EPYC product. The PAE works with customers, field engineers, technical marketing, and factory engineers in a worldwide team to rapidly resolve complex technical issues. The PAE enables customers to complete their designs and recommends improvements to AMD products. The environment is fast moving with a focus on emerging technologies.  

THE PERSON:   

As a PAE you will deliver support to our growing customer base for the next generation of products AMD (Advanced Micro Devices) is producing. In this high visibility position, your expertise will be necessary to define application products, develop solutions, assess root causes, and produce solution resolutions.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:   

• Collaborate with multiple verification teams, architects, designers, ecosystem vendors and customers for NUDD mining.
• Training customers to understand what AMD NUDD test contains and influence customer validation strategy
• Develop test plan, workshop planning and execution from end to end.
• Support defect 1st triage and collaborate with debug team till defect closure.

• Maintain and improve test automation framework.
• Collaborate with AMD validation network to align and Influence AMD validation strategy.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:   

• Bachelors or Masters degree with 5+ years of experience in server system develop or validation and 3+ years of experience to lead a design or validation team is a plus
• Familiar with x86 and server architecture.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Must be able to demonstrate professional presentation skills on executive summary to both technical and non-technical audiences.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:   

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical or computer engineering or related equivalent
