Job Role and Responsibility: AMD, Inc., is hiring Sr. Product Development Engineers to develop data products and/or mathematical or statistical methods to provide usable information that enable stakeholders to do their jobs effectively, employing knowledge of mathematical theory and business analytics. Analyze and organize statistical and/or raw to build data systems, algorithms, prototypes, and pipelines data to identify significant differences in relationships among sources of information. Process and prepare large amounts of data for prescriptive and predictive modeling to evaluate business needs and achieve objectives. Use tools and techniques to visualize data in easy-to-understand formats. Work with multi-functional stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs. Act as the bridge between data engineers and data analysts. Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Under limited supervision, exercise judgment within defined company procedures and practices to select methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Utilize and apply knowledge of mathematics, business analytics, statistical modeling, data pipelines, data systems and computers and electronics, including applications and programming.

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.

Qualifications: Amount and type of experience required: One (1) year of experience in the job offered or one (1) year of experience as a business analyst, data stack developer, or related occupation.

Specific skills required: The following skills are required:

Position requires one (1) year of experience in the following:

• SQL and MS SQL Server;
• Python, C, or Java;
• Building data pipelines and analyzing data; and
• Data structures and data reporting.
