KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design functional automation environment for stress software to be used for volume deployment.
  • Identify and help resolve hardware, software and platform issues.
  • Forward thinker to improve development processes, code quality and hardware coverage.
  • Working primarily on Windows and Linux.
  • Profiling and analysis to identify and resolve performance issues.
  • Collaborating closely with various teams to implement features and debug issues.
  • Designing, prototyping, and evaluating new performance tools.
  • Contributing to all phases of software development life cycle including requirements gathering, scoping, design, implementation, test, bug fixing and documentation. 
  • Identify and help resolve quality issues.
  • Research alternative, more efficient ways to accomplish the same work.
  • Develop technical relationships with peers and partners.
  • Design, implement, and test features to enhance GPU support.
  • Benchmark, characterization and optimize code to maximize performance of GPU applications.

 

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience programming experience with C++, C#, Python, shell script, or similar. 
  • Experience w/ PC HW debug including voltage, networking, storage, and thermal control.
  • Excellent design and code development skills, familiarity with Linux and modern software tools/benchmarks and techniques for development.
  • Familiar with building computer systems (desktops, laptops, servers, etc.).
  • Experience with board/platform-level debug.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good verbal & written communication skill is a must.
  • Willing and patience to reproduce reported issues.
  • Familiar with general Computer Architecture concepts such as pipelining and caching, x86 architecture, and PC computer organization. 
  • Experience with GPU data center infrastructure.
  • Good understanding of QA process & terminology.
  • Debug techniques and methodologies.
  • Worked with CPU sockets (AMD and Intel), DDRx memory sockets, PCIe HDD/SSD, and power connectors & cables, switches in datacenter servers.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer/Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline
