About this Role

Fandom is growing! Our Sr Product Manager opportunity is in Poland, and reports to our VP Product Management.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Product Manager to lead our platform teams in defining, coordinating, and executing the product roadmap and key projects & initiatives. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring our core platform teams deliver a robust, scalable, efficient, and productive platform that empowers our engineering teams and all our product roadmap. Our platform serves over 300 M monthly users worldwide and billions of pageviews to entertainment and videogame fans across the globe.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product  Leadership: Define and drive the product  roadmap for platform development, ensuring alignment with the broader organizational goals and engineering needs.
  • Coordination and Execution: Oversee the coordination and execution of platform projects, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between platform teams and other departments, gathering requirements, setting expectations, and ensuring effective communication. Create transparency and alignment with the senior members of the Product and Technology organization.
  • Innovation and Improvement: Continuously identify and implement improvements to the platform, leveraging the latest technologies and industry best practices to enhance performance, scalability, and efficiency.

Key Challenges

  • Scalability: Ensuring the platform can handle increasing loads and user demands without compromising performance.
  • Efficiency: Streamlining processes and reducing resource consumption while maintaining or enhancing platform capabilities.
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Navigating the complexities of aligning multiple teams with varying priorities and ensuring cohesive execution.
  • Technical Debt: Managing and mitigating technical debt to maintain a sustainable development pace and future-proof the platform.

You Have...

  • A passion about the entertainment space and are a fan yourself
  • 5+ years of product management experience with 2+ years on very technical products and/or platforms
  • Experience in understanding technology challenges, release cycles and pipelines, platform availability metrics and processes, technical debt management
  • Excellent communication skills, and the ability to structure content to effectively create clarity and decision making mechanisms.
  • An ability to quickly absorb technical concepts and communicate them to a non-technical audience
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to adapt to a changing environment
  • A data-driven approach to quantifying and qualifying problems and opportunities, and the ability to produce  data analysis and insights to support decision making
