About this Role

The Senior Social Media Strategist is directly responsible for the day to day operations essential to the multimedia presence of our gaming and entertainment brands on owned channels such as Facebook, X, TikTok, and Instagram. This includes ideating and posting organic and sponsored content, specifically video, for all of our social media channels.

The Senior Social Media Strategist will be responsible for tracking progress towards monthly and yearly performance goals and will work directly with the Video, Graphic Design, Paid Social, Editorial and Sales Marketing teams. 

 

This role reports into the Senior Manager, Social Media and can be based in LA or SFO.

You Will...

  • Lead  weekly social video ideation meetings
  • Manage Asana workflows for social videos and graphics 
  • Schedule/Post organic and sponsored social videos and graphics
  • Execute weekly/monthly reporting 
  • Manage  RSS feeds 
  • Utilize Dlvr.It, Sprout Social, Later, Meta Business Suite, Instagram, TikTok, X, and Facebook. 
  • Attend select on-the-ground gaming events for social coverage (which will sometimes require travel)
  • Cover developer/gaming livestreams (which may occur outside of normal business hours)
  • Create and managing organic and sponsored social media contests and promotions

You Have...

  • 2 -4 years of  work experience in social media marketing, specifically with video content and video-first social media channels 
  • Excellent background and personal interest in gaming and gaming related media
  • Strong understanding of KPIs and social media reporting
  • Demonstrated experience in data-driven decision making in content ideas and planning
  • Prior work experience posting sponsored content on all social media channels (Facebook, X, TikTok, and Instagram)
  • Understanding of social media platforms and how to engage and grow audiences
  • Strong written communication and organizational skills
  • Excellent computer skills and digital literacy
  • Energetic team player who is flexible, reliable, and creative

Bonus Points...

  • Experience working with a gaming or gaming adjacent company 
  • Experience working in Asana project management tool
  • Social media experience with commerce brands (managing shoppable social channels)
  • Wiki and wiki syntax experience
