THE ROLE:

The Sr. Sourcing Manager Sr. Sourcing Manager - IT Equipment and Infrastructure, including Cloud and Telecom will be responsible for developing and executing global sourcing strategies for IT equipment, network, compute, cloud compute, data center colocations, and telecom services.

THE PERSON:

The Sr. Sourcing Manager will work collaboratively with business stakeholders, vendors, and internal procurement teams to deliver value-driven, cost-efficient, and high-quality supplier solutions. Create cost models to assess pricing, total cost of ownership, and supplier performance. The Sr. Sourcing Manager will report to the Director of Global Procurement and will have a significant impact on the organization's operational and financial performance. I

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and execute sourcing strategies for IT equipment, network, compute, cloud compute, data center colocations, and telecom services. Create cost models to assess pricing, total cost of ownership, and supplier performance.  • Negotiate global contracts and framework agreements with vendors and suppliers. • Partner with internal business stakeholders to ensure that supplier and vendor solutions align with organizational goals and objectives. • Conduct market research and supplier analysis to identify new supplier opportunities and improve existing supplier relationships. • • Implement cost-saving strategies, supplier management, and performance metrics. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop risk mitigation strategies and implement contingency plans in the event of supplier disruption.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

Extensive experience in IT procurement and sourcing, specifically in IT equipment, network, compute, cloud compute, data center colocations, and telecom services. • Strong experience in contract negotiation and management. • Proven experience in creating cost models to assess pricing, total cost of ownership, and supplier performance. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems. • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
