Job Role and Responsibility: AMD, Inc., is hiring Sr. Supply Chain Specialists to Design, develop, test, and evaluate integrated systems for managing industrial production processes, including inventory control, logistics, and material flow, employing knowledge of industrial engineering. Review production schedules, engineering specifications, process flows, and other information to understand methods that are applied and implement improvements. Analyze and coordinate the supply chain functions of a semiconductor organization. Analyze supply-demand matching, based on MRP system, to resolve root cause changes, shortages, and surpluses, and identify and drive course corrections. Review all MRP inputs with functional owners to drive accountability and data accuracy (Yields, BOM, Capacity, etc.). Provide product intelligence and required actions in the generation of the inventory forecast. Articulate the difference between the demand plan (ship plan) and revenue plan (MOF). Drive discussion/ actions to close revenue dedication gaps by unit and improve the overall health of the product(s). Enact quality control procedures to resolve production problems or minimize costs – Recommend demand crafting opportunities to achieve business goals. Represent ISC and articulate supply and inventory plans at all meetings with key internal customers: PEO, Business Unit, and Production Control (PLPC). Examples: NPI Readiness/PM,

Core Team, SCT, ISC Ops. Drive disposition of inactive / hold inventory and represent ISC in meetings with the

Business Units, Finance teams and Inventory Management. Identify required demand mix for factory planner to implement to when leading the line and crafting the Graded Die Forecast (GDF). Lead OPN Constraints to align release dates, based on IP date and or manufacturing requirements. Coordinate with data management (GPDM) for new BOM creation, based on new RIDV and post- processors. Meet with Central Planning to identify part connections / disconnections in the BOM. Perform root cause analysis and recommended dispositions for inventory forecast and financial close. Under supervision, exercise judgment within defined company procedures and practices to select methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

Qualifications: Degree required

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

Qualifications: Amount and type of experience required: Two (2) years of experience in the job offered or closely related engineering, supply chain analyst, or data analyst role.

Specific skills required: The following skills are required:

Position requires experience with the following technologies and/or skills:

1.Capacity Planning;

2.Inventory Management;

3.Supply Planning tools;

4.Supply Chain Management;

5.Risk Management;

7.Statistical Data Analysis;
