Job Role and Responsibility: Xilinx, Inc., a subsidiary of AMD, Inc., is hiring a Sr. Technical Sales Manager to be responsible for the following: gain a solid understanding of customer business initiatives, challenges, and industry trends to identify ways for customers to increase their competitive advantage using AMD-Xilinx Solutions. Identify new opportunities, understand the customer’s business and technology drivers, and successfully position the appropriate value proposition. Establish company as a primary building block in the customer’s product development. Work closely with local technical support teams to develop winning proposals, which capture and articulate the relevant technical and business value. Develop and articulate a winning strategy for target accounts. Articulate differentiating key capabilities and business value of company products, services, and platform solutions to customers. Understand and prioritize account opportunities to drive maximum ROI. Mobilize and coordinate internal resources efficiently to support all the pre- and post-sales support requirements of a project.

Qualifications: Degree required

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Qualifications: Amount and type of experience required:  36 months in job offered or closely related technical sales or account management role.

Alternate combination of education and experience: Employer will accept alternate combination of education and experience: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or closely related technical sales or account management role.

Specific skills required: The following skills are required:

Position requires three (3) years of experience in the following:

  • Microcontrollers, Microprocessors, or ARM architecture;
  • Embedded systems, System on Chip, or CPU features;
  • Wireless technology and protocols, such as Bluetooth, Wi-fi, Zigbee (802.15.4, 802.11), Sub GHZ radio, Ultra-wide band (UWB), or Near Field communication (NFC);
  • Automotive technologies including Radar, LiDar, power inverters, advanced driver assist technologies, GNSS or GPS, and autonomous vehicles;
  • Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning predictive models;
  • Sensors such as MEMS accelerometer, 6-Axis IMU, Pressure sensors, environmental sensors, Time-Of-Flight sensors (ToF), or Imagers;
  • Market analysis, TAM and SAM, revenue modeling and forecast, sales reporting, and opportunity management; and
  • Positioning of product strategy and external market, defining product roadmap, and implementing go-to-market strategy.
