THE ROLE:

Sr. Technical Engineer responsible for the deployment of NPI engineering projects involving AMD IP (Silicon, HW, SW) and partner technologies (Fabric, Storage, Accelerators) to deliver data center system solutions

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Define, plan, and drive engineering program plans based on AMD management and senior technical guidance
• Provide engineering leadership to technical teams spanning multiple disciplines and geographies
• Engage with internal stakeholders in product planning, development, and validation activities
• Coordinate team communications and reviews with AMD management and customers
• Deploy and maintain NPI server products while overseeing the efforts of other engineers and contractors
• Track and report status vs. objectives throughout the lifecycle of the program

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Excellent communication and leadership skills, both written and oral
• High attention to detail and good follow through in a fast pace environment
• Experience in areas of data center system design, software development, and validation
• Familiarity with testing tools, methodologies, and defect tracking
• Ability to function independently with little direct supervision
• Familiarity with network topologies and deployment strategy

ACADENIC CREDENTIALS:

• 4+ years’ experience in high tech industry
• Relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Skilled in MS Office tool suites, Confluence, MS Sharepoint, Jira
