About this Role

Opinions are fine but numbers speak the truth. You love numbers. You keep a spreadsheet for your weekly shopping list and run cost-benefit analyses to determine the most efficient weekday, time of day, and location to get your groceries. You check your bills because you delight in finding mistakes and you do copies of them because you know they will turn white before the two years warranty deadline.

 

In this role, you will be supporting the company globally in the area of finance and compliance. You will be recording business activities with the use of quantitative metrics. You will be assisting during the month-end close of the books and in drafting the reports. 



You Will...

  • Ensuring financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
  • Actively involving in the audit and the year-end operations
  • Ownership of miscellaneous, global tax and compliance tasks
  • Preparing journal entries as needed
  • Checking accounts’ balances on a monthly basis and resolving discrepancies and irregularities
  • Reviewing and booking purchase invoices
  • Preparing weekly/ accounts payable listing, identify vendors for payment, and ensuring timely and accurate payments
  • Calculating, preparing and processing of travel and expense claims
  • Assisting in preparing monthly billings to customers and following up on them
  • Supporting in collection and credit control process
  • Creating and maintaining vendors and customers accounts
  • Maintaining fixed assets register and participate in the stock takes
  • Performing routine calculations to produce analyses and reports as requested
  • Other as needed and related to the function

You Have...

  • Accounting or finance-related studies
  • 1+ year of professional experience in a similar position
  • Advanced computer skills (including G Suite and Microsoft Office, especially Excel)
  • Accuracy, timeliness, patience
  • Attention to detail
  • Solid Communication, both verbal and written
  • Good analytical and numerical skills
  • Advanced level of spoken and written English
  • Collaborative, proactive and with willingness to participate in a variety of international financial projects
