Job Role and Responsibility: AMD, Inc. is hiring Staff Business Systems Analysts to Facilitate and document business requirements to align business demand with IT understanding. Bridge gap between business requirements and IT solutions ensuring common understanding and IT/Business alignment. Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs. Possess and develop business acumen to accurately lead business requirements, build use cases, storyboarding and testing scenarios. Document requirements, flow diagrams, define scope and objectives, and formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies. Coordination with business users, subject matter experts and developers required. Analyze system and business data to align with project requirements and functional documentation. Beyond just capturing business requirements, tie requirements to decisions that need to be made and to strategic objectives, or corporate KPIs. Assist in execution of project life cycle, including as-is and to be analysis, scope definition, process improvement and testing in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies Assist with problem solving and issue resolution –including partner concern and prioritizations. Drive all project management and artifacts to completion to ensure project compliance.

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Analytics, Computer Science, International Business, Information Technology, or related field.
Qualifications: Amount and type of experience required: Three (3) years of experience in job offered or closely related business analyst role.
Alternate combination of education and experience: Employer will accept alternate combination of education and experience: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Analytics, Computer Science, International Business, Information Technology, or related field and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or closely related business analyst role.
Specific skills required: The following skills are required:
Position requires three (3) years of experience in the following technologies and/or skills:
1.Software verification;
2.Product development cycles;
3.Software debugging using macOS, Linux, or Unix;
4.Performing business analysis and requirements management on projects;
5.Using business analysis and requirements prioritization techniques (MoSCoW analysis, Gap Analysis (As-Is and To-Be Analysis), Cost Benefit Analysis, JAD Sessions, Use Case models, Process Maps, Process and flow diagrams, or Wireframe mockups);
6.Utilizing Waterfall and Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban) in collaboration with technology;
7.Performing user story creation, Backlog grooming, Backlog prioritization, Sprint Planning, and Sprint Showcase using Atlassian Jira or Confluence; and
8.Performing various aspects of project management activities such as resource planning, conflict resolution, risk management, or issue resolution.
