AMD, Inc., is hiring Staff Business Systems Analyst to Support IT initiatives for sales, marketing, and business unit’s roadmaps through direct interaction with stakeholders and internal business partners. Drive IT alignment with corporate goals and business needs. Facilitate and document business requirements in order to align business demand with IT understanding. Coordinate with business users, subject matter experts, and software developers to develop analytical tools and technologies. Analyze system and business data in order to align with project requirements and functional documentation. Assist in execution of project life cycle, including as-is and to-be analysis, scope definition, process improvement and testing in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Assist with problem solving and issue resolution – including escalation and prioritizations. Utilize Agile and story boarding methodologies to drive all project management and artifacts to completion to ensure project compliance. Utilize knowledge of business models and processes. IT project governance. Data analysis to support sales, marketing, and business unit operations.

Qualifications: Degree required
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in computer applications, management information systems, business administration, or related field.
Qualifications: Amount and type of experience required: 36 months in the job offered or closely related business systems analyst role
Specific skills required: The following skills are required:
Requires (2) years of experience in the following:

• Windows (NT, 2000, or XP);
• UML, Waterfall, and Agile;
• Data Analysis and Integration;
• Writing and implementing test cases and test scenarios, including regression testing; and
• Defect tracking and analysis.
