Staff Business Systems Analyst
Xilinx, Inc., a subsidiary of AMD, Inc., is hiring Staff Business Systems Analysts to administer the proprietary COMPASS and Salesforce systems for Xilinx by developing, enhancing, and testing system improvements. Gather business-enhancement requests and translate them into technical requirements to improve the system and communicate with business organization on the scheduling and implementation. Configure system settings and options, plan and execute unit, integration and acceptance testing to meet business requirements. Work closely with user to maximize benefits of systems changes and drive adoption. Troubleshoot program and system malfunctions to restore normal functioning. Configure system settings and options, plan and execute unit, integration and acceptance testing to meet business requirements. Consult with management to ensure agreement on system principles. Create user documentation and consult with and train users on automated systems and new capabilities. Manage release deployments of new product changes including planning, communication and quality assurance. Coordinate and manage testing execution for monthly releases of enhancements and support other integrated system testing impacting COMPASS and Salesforce. Utilize knowledge and experience with computers and electronics, including processors, chips, electronic equipment, computer hardware and software and applications and programming. Utilize knowledge and experience in information technology, as well as business and management principles involved in strategic planning and analysis and reporting of data to develop and implement solutions to complex problems.

Degree required
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering Management, Information Technology, Strategic Management & Planning, Data Analytics, or related field.
Amount and type of experience required: 1 year in job offered or business systems analyst role.
Alternate combination of education and experience : Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering Management, Information Technology, Strategic Management & Planning, Data Analytics, or related field and three (3) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or business systems analyst role.
Specific skills required: The following skills are required:
Must have 1 year of experience in the following:
- Data Analysis and Integration;
- Project and Operations Management;
- Business reporting and metrics;
- ERP system and management methodologies;
- Salesforce Application; and
- Product lifecycle management tools.
